Elvira G. Rincón-Flores es doctora en Ciencias de la Educación por la Universidad de Salamanca, tesis Cum Laude. Actualmente, es Investigadora del departamento de Medición de Impacto del Instituto para el Futuro de la Educación del Tecnológico de Monterrey, también es profesora en la misma institución. Pertenece al Sistema Nacional de Investigadores de México (Nivel 2), a los grupos de investigación: INDIE y GIIE, de la Universidad de Salamanca y del Tecnológico de Monterrey, respectivamente. Actualmente es líder de los siguientes proyectos de investigación en Innovación Educativa: Gamificación en la Educación Superior, Mentoría Estudiantil, Bienestar Integral de Estudiantes de PrepaTec y Aprendizaje Adaptativo. También colaboró con la Universidad de Lima en el desarrollo de una plataforma dinámica para la Gamificación llamada Gamit!, actualmente el proyecto está en la fase de escalamiento. Sus líneas de investigación son: Evaluación de la Innovación Educativa y Gamificación para el Aprendizaje. Elvira G. Rincón-Flores holds a PhD in Education Sciences from the University of Salamanca, thesis Laude. Currently, she is a researcher in the Department of Impact Measurement of the Institute for the Future of Education of Tecnológico de Monterrey, she is also a professor at the same institution. He belongs to the National System of Researchers of Mexico (Level 2), to the research groups: GRIAL and GIIE, of the University of Salamanca and the Tecnológico de Monterrey, respectively. He is leader of the following research projects in Educational Innovation: Gamification in higher education, Student Mentoring, Integral Well-being of PrepaTec students, and Adaptive Learning. He also collaborated with the University of Lima in the development of a dynamic platform for Gamification called Gamit!, currently the project is in the scaling phase. His lines of research are: Evaluation of educational innovation and Gamification for learning.
